Pre-Lenten Retreat 2/25

St. Peter Orthodox Church will host a Pre-Lenten Retreat on Saturday, February 25th.  Our Keynote Speaker will be Father Barry Thibodeaux, Rector of Christ the Savior Orthodox Church in Jacksonville, TX. Our theme will be "Repentance:  The Journey from our kingdom to the Kingdom of God." St. Peter Orthodox Church will have its Annual Parish Meeting this Sunday after Mass and refreshments. In the meeting we will seek to accomplish the following: 1. Men’s Ministry 1/7 9 AM

The Men's Ministry of St. Peter Orthodox Church will meet tomorrow morning for breakfast, fellowship, and our common spiritual growth in Christ. Thanksgiving Lunch 11/13

This Sunday after Mass, St. Peter Orthodox Church will be hosting our annual Thanksgiving Lunch.  All are welcome to come and feast with us with great thanksgiving for all that God has done for us. There is no cost per person to come to this meal.  St. Sophia's, the Women's Ministry of our Parish, is covering all food costs.  We will, however, have a donation basket.  All funds donated will go to directly to Metropolitan Joseph's 2016 Project, "Feed the Children in America and Abroad." … [Read more...]
