    Praying for our Children

    Parents, are we praying daily for our children? Parishioners, are we praying daily for the children in the Church? Allow me to suggest this prayer. It is "A Parent's Prayer" from our St. Aidan's Prayer Book and is the one I pray everyday for my children: "O heavenly Father, I commend the soul(s) of my children (name each child) to Thee. Be Thou there God and Father, and mercifully supply whatever is wanting in me through frailty or negligence. Strengthen them to overcome
