Spring Break Scales New Heights with SOYO

Youth from the SOYO group of St. Peter Orthodox Church found themselves above the crowd as they learned the basics of rock climbing assisted by the belay team at Dyno Rock in Arlington. Friday, March 16th of Spring Break was an engaging experience for both youth and parents alike as both took turns scaling the rock climbing wall.

Jesse McNary, a junior, said of the experience:"Dyno Rock was super fun, hanging with each other and supporting one another!" Parents also noted how they enjoyed seeing the fellowship between the SOYO members. "My favorite was watching the kids climb. My son, Lucien (pictured climbing above ) went higher than he went before and I had fun as well. It was a great afternoon with a great group of kids.", commented Jillian Gray.

The youth plan many outings throughout the year and anticipate more fellowship and fun in the near future.
