Brotherhood of St. Benedict Men's Breakfast, Prayer, & Fellowship Meeting this Morning, May 9th.

The importance of men fellowshipping together, praying together, and growing to maturity together regarding their life in Christ cannot be understated. We are blessed with men in this Parish who greatly desire to get together, one Saturday morning a month, to walk with Christ and experience Him together.
This morning at our Men's Breakfast, Victor Domin presented a 10-minute video on the common struggles we face in enjoying a prayer life of true communion with God; a communion our Lord desires to have with us. He also presented a PDF containing many wonderful teachings from the Saints of the Church regarding prayer, the beauty and simplicity of prayer, and how we should approach our times of fellowship with God. We all talked about our struggles and successes in our prayer lives for quite some time. I, like everyone there, grew from our time together. We need Christ in one another.
What a blessing it is to be with these men as Christ is in our midst!
